Rubber tyres stay buoyant

Gehl has introduced a new solid rubber tyre for use with its DL and RS series of telescopic handlers. The single aperture tyres are said to have many advantages over standard pneumatic and foam-fi lled tyres in that they are designed never to puncture blow out or go fl at thereby reducing downtime and increasing productivity. They are also said to last up to four times as long as standard pneumatic and foam-fi lled tyres.
