A further sign that progress is being made on London’s US$21.9bn Crossrail project is the news that Transcend – a joint venture between AECOM, CH2M Hill and Nichols Group – has been confirmed as ‘programme partner’.

Robbins TBM sets Delhi Metro record

One of 14 TBMs used on the excavation of the New Delhi Metro in India has surpassed its fellow machines in operational performance by achieving a best weekly advance rate of 202m, which equates to 168 rings.
